The home visitation-based Family Guidance project of the Istanbul95 program was presented as a case example at the Kartepe Summit organized by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality with the theme of “Urbanism and Happy City”.
Family Guidance program
Research findings on the home visitation-based Family Guidance program were presented at the 2nd Developmental Psychology Symposium and at the 20th National Psychology Congress.
ISADEM
In the workshops organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality on July 17, 2019 and August 8, 2019, the implementation of the home visitation-based Family Guidance program was coordinated with the teams of ISADEM (Istanbul Family Counseling and Training Center).
Home Visitor Training from Boğaziçi University for Happy Mothers and Healthy Children
Home visitation-based “Family Guidance” program home visitor training was delivered by Boğaziçi University between 15 – 19 April 2019 within the scope of the Istanbul 95 project. Trained home visitors will provide guidance to mothers of 0-3 year-old children in their caregiving role in four pilot districts selected in Istanbul.

Contribution of Boğaziçi University to the Pilot Program for Early Childhood Development
Boğaziçi University is among the stakeholders of The Istanbul95 program to support the development of socially and economically disadvantaged children aged 0-3. This program supported by the Bernard van Leer Foundation was launched on February 8.
